My 5 tips on how to keep the clutter on your computer at bay while you work!
We all know how easy it is to get pulled into working away (day and night) only to suddenly stop, look at our computer’s screen and realize we have like 15 browser windows open, a desktop full of files that really should have been filed away when we downloaded them, our calendar open, our email open, and any other possible window we can conceive of, and maybe even that dreaded pinwheel of death (if you’re on a mac).
There’s a better way.
And I’m here to show you that way...or at least the way I do it as I work.
Use tabs instead of individual windows on browser and use Toby
Save your downloaded items to one place - NOT your desktop
Use Shift!
When you are finished working on something, CLOSE it!
Line up your open windows
