The Tech Stack Magic Process:

1️⃣ Once you sign up for Tech Stack Magic, we’ll slot you into the schedule.

2️⃣ You’ll receive an in-depth questionnaire that will help us understand exactly what your needs are regarding the technology in your business! (We’ll also help guide you to some of those answers if you don’t know them.)

3️⃣ We’ll get to work, taking the information you give us to figure out which TYPES of platforms and systems you need, and then do any necessary research to find the BEST platforms to fit your specific needs.

4️⃣ We’ll send you a custom video showing you the platforms we suggest to build your tech stack (you’ll get multiple options when possible), why we’re suggesting them, and your next steps. (You’ll also receive written documentation of this information with links.)

5️⃣ From there, it’s up to you! You have access to us for 2 weeks following this service to ask any questions and get clarification on our recommendations while you figure out your implementation plan.

  • It really does! A lot of times, platforms are created to support specific types of businesses. You don’t want to use an e-commerce platform designed for selling physical products when you’re only selling digital. You’ll end up paying for a lot of features you won’t use and missing important features that you need.

    Additionally, we all process information differently, have varying relationships with technology (love, hate, love/hate), and cater to different customers and clients. When the technology we choose complements that, it is a game changer.

    It’s like the difference between feeding an orchid regular houseplant food and food created for orchids. The orchid will survive off of general houseplant food, but it will thrive when it’s given food designed to work with its specific nutritional needs.

  • That is completely ok! You likely didn’t start your business to spend time trying to understand what a tech stack is, what tech solutions your business needs, or a lot of the other stuff we end up having to do when we start a business!

  • That will completely depend on your business’ needs. Some people may only need 2-3 platforms in their business or would find an all-in-one platform useful for their particular business model. Others may use 5-8 platforms.

    We will only recommend what we think would make your business thrive.

  • That is completely up to you – there are no “shoulds” here!

    This whole process is about coming up with technology, systems, and processes that work FOR and WITH your business. There is no right or wrong. You know yourself best, so you can decide if you want to dive in and do it all at once, or start with one platform at a time.

    For really new solopreneurs, we’d likely recommend starting slow so as not to overwhelm yourself. We want you to be successful and to utilize the new platforms that you decide to move forward with. If you get overwhelmed easily, implementing them all at once may be too much and could put you in an avoidance space.

    There is no race and the only timeline that exists is the one you get to create!

  • This service is dedicated only to recommending your new platforms. But once we’re done with that process, we can give you information on a custom package to do the implementation too — we’re happy to give you one (or 5) less things to do!

  • If you only have a couple of platforms currently set up in your business, then this is still a great service for you. We’ll take those platforms into consideration when we’re making recommendations to make sure we find platforms that will integrate nicely with what you’re already using or replacements if they’re not working well.

    If you have several platforms in use and you’re not happy with your overall systems, then a BizMagic Systems Audit is a better fit for you.
